Early in the game, you see someone’s entire jaw hanging off their head. It is dangerously close to completely falling off. A zombie that grabs you as you crawl through a barely open shutter at the start of the game is crushed to death and cut in half by another character who slams the shutter door shut on top of him. In one scene, a man is impaled through the head via a zombie mutant. A character is trapped in an incinerator during a quick time event, and if you do not find a way out in time she will burn alive. Two burning zombies will emerge from the wreckage of the crashed chopper. Presumably, they were infected before boarding the chopper and this played a role in the chopper suddenly crashing. Elliot Edwards' bottom half is bitten off. It's not directly shown, but entrails are graphically shown as he dies. After taking some damage in an explosion, Mr. X's Tyrant form is missing his lower jaw during Leon's final encounter with him. William Birkin (Also referred to as “G”) is a reoccurring boss in the game who becomes increasingly more mutated and horrific looking the further the game goes.
