El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron (2011)
El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron follows the immortal scribe Enoch on a quest inspired by the apocryphal Biblical Book of Enoch to save humanity from destruction. With the aid of Archangels and a guardian angel named Lucifel, Enoch must track down seven fallen angels, known as the Grigori, who threaten to bring about a great flood ordered by the Council of Heaven. Armed with Heavenly weapons stolen from enemies, Enoch traverses through diverse landscapes, battling foes and uncovering secrets as he strives to prevent the impending catastrophe. Narrative themes include hack-and-slash combat, betrayal, temptation, and hope. Until specified, this page only covers the 2011 edition of the game.
